In 2023, the Iowa Hospital Association successfully worked with the Iowa legislature to create the rules for rural emergency hospital licensure. I created press releases and media statements on behalf of IHA CEO Chris Mitchell that I pitched to state media before and after the vote to garner positive coverage of the new hospital designation.
